Does the S.A.F.E. ChokeSaver Class satisfy Mass DPH requirements?
Yes, both 105 CMR 590.009: Special Requirements & 105 CMR 605.003: Approved Manual Procedures

Can you provide a little background about S.A.F.E.?
The Lead Instructor certified as a Massachusetts EMT-B in 1988.
​Safety And First-aid Education (S.A.F.E.) was established in 1994.

How long is the S.A.F.E. ChokeSaver Certificate valid?
We follow current ECC guidelines; our Certificates are good for 2 years, from date of issue.

I have a CPR Certificate, is that equivalent to ChokeSaver?
If your Lay Rescuer/Health Care Provider CPR Cert is current; it should be accepted by your BOH.

Do you accept corporate credit cards?
Yes, we will set up an on-line invoice for MC/Visa and charge a 3.0% Convenience Fee.

Why does the S.A.F.E. ChokeSaver Class take 2 hours?
We cover conscious and unconscious, infant, child & adult airway emergencies and 911 issues.

Your RATES include a 'Travel Stipend', explain...
For host sites greater than 20 miles from 01852 we charge $1 per mile, to defray travel expenses.

What is your cancellation policy?
S.A.F.E. does not require a booking fee and we do not charge a cancellation fee*
*Provided the cancellation is made in writing, 48 hours prior to date/time of scheduled class.

Do you require a 'contract' to commit to a date/time?
Yes, you'll find the Course Agreement/Contract on our website, it must be submitted prior to program.

Can I request a REPLACEMENT ChokeSaver Certificate?
Yes, if you took the class with S.A.F.E. a 'replacement' Cert will cost $5... complete this request form.​​
